Dr. Alexander Zinser
Alexander Zinser has over 20 years of management experience as Chief Legal Officer and a member of the Executive Board in multinational companies across the Life Science, IT, FMCG, and Manufacturing industries. He began his career at the law firm Graf von Westphalen in Frankfurt am Main.
In his role as Chief Legal Officer, he has successfully built, led, and developed legal and compliance teams. He frequently supported complex restructuring and transformation processes as well as M&A transactions with volumes of up to CHF 5 billion. With his expertise, he helps companies make well-informed decisions in selecting top talent.
Alexander Zinser has worked in Germany, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. He maintains an extensive national and international network, including through his role as long-standing President of the IMD Alumni Club Zurich and founder of the General Counsel Forum.
He studied law at the Universities of Passau, Birmingham, Strasbourg, Vienna, and Munich, and completed his doctoral thesis on takeover bids. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), as well as the First / Second German Legal State Examination, and the Swiss Bar Examination.
