Data protection/access data

In accordance with Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DPA), all people are entitled to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these regulations. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is not sold or passed on to third parties.
In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect our databases as well as possible from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or forgery.
When you access our webpages, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information about the operating system or browser.

This usage data acts as a basis for anonymous statistical evaluations so that trends can be identified, which we can then use to improve our services. The provider does, however, reserve the right to check back over the log data if there is justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Privacy policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files stored on your computer, which make it possible to analyze the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be truncated by Google in advance within member states of the European Union or in other contracting parties to the European Economic Area Agreement.
Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process this data on Google’s behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the course of using Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You may prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software; we would, however, like to draw your attention to the fact that, if you do this, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website. By using this website, you agree that the data about you collected by Google may be processed in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to an individual. This includes their name, email address, or phone number. Data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or which websites have been viewed by someone is, however, also classed as personal data.
Personal data is only collected, used, and passed on by the provider if this is legally permitted or if the users consent to the data collection.

Newsletter

We use the newsletter to inform you about us and our services. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require that you provide us with a valid email address, the name that you would like to be addressed by, and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected.

This data is only used for sending the newsletter via a third-party system and is not passed on to third parties.
When you register for the newsletter, we also store your IP address and the date of registration. This data is stored solely as evidence in the event that a third party misuses an email address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorized subject.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address and the use of this information for the sending of the newsletter at any time. Consent can be revoked via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile, or by notifying the contacts specified above.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are permanently or temporarily stored on your computer when you visit this website. The particular purpose of cookies is to analyze the use of this website for the purpose of statistical evaluation and to improve it continuously.

In your browser, you can disable cookies in full or in part at any time in the settings. If cookies are disabled, you may no longer be able to use all the functions of this website.

Revocation, changes, corrections and updates

Users have the right to receive, on request and free of charge, information about the personal data stored about them. Users also have the right to have inaccurate data corrected and their personal data blocked and deleted, provided that this does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain such data.
