Roman Huber †
Dear Clients and Business Partners,
It is with deep sadness that we, on behalf of Roy C. Hitchman AG, inform you that Roman Huber, our long-standing Managing Partner, passed away May 11th 2026.
He succumbed to an illness that he had borne with remarkable strength and discretion over an extended period, and about which he only informed a very close circle a few months ago.
Roman took over the company in 2016 and led it with great passion, outstanding professionalism, and profound expertise — determined yet thoughtful in his approach. His work was characterized by a strong service orientation, entrepreneurial thinking, and a keen sense for the needs of our clients and partners. Creating value for our clients was always at the heart of everything he did.
His commitment to continuously developing the company and all of us as partners, to driving initiatives forward with consistency, and to actively promoting digitalization and AI-driven innovation distinguished him just as much as his aspiration for operational excellence, making a meaningful difference, and achieving sustainable success in the market.
With Roman, we lose not only an exceptional entrepreneur and executive search consultant, but above all, a generous, highly humorous, sensitive, deeply empathetic, and in every respect highly valued individual and dear friend.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones. We will honour his memory with deep respect and gratitude.
In quiet remembrance
Roy C. Hitchman AG – Partners and Employees
